A few years ago I was lucky to find this beautiful 1970 280 S... It was just sitting waiting for someone to come along and restore it to all its former Autobahn cruising glory. I hope I made Herr Daimler proud...



But after over 10,000 miles of enjoyment, I have passed the "torch to the next generation" -I reluctantly sold it on EBAY...the new buyer is continuing the restoration, and soon it will be trucking down the road, giving some lucky driver satisfaction again....

If you see this in your rear view...

move over and give it the road! ...Auf wiedersehen, Blue Max! -and thanks for the memories!
